Shipping tubes are cylinder-shaped, stable shipping packages which generally consist of an exterior part and a somewhat smaller interior part. With the help of a screw mechanism, the two parts can be combined together. Shipping tubes are well-suited for goods which must not be folded, for example important documents or posters. Generally, these tubes are made of cardboard or plastic. They come in different length versions and in round, square or angular variations. These tubes can be opened and closed particularly quickly, since the lid slides off with minimal effort. For this reason, the tubes are primarily used to protect the goods.
